The Portree Guesthouse offers a secure garden, along with a spacious guest lounge with 24 hour tea/coffee making facilities and a flat-screen TV with Irish channels as well as BBC1, BBC2, Sky News and Channel 4. the TV is used to show all major sporting events. Each morning the Portree serves a choice of continental breakfast or a cooked Full Irish breakfast for an additional fee (Continental breakfast must ordered in advance during Winter months). Portree is located at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, yet is only a 5-minute walk from Waterford's shops, restaurants, and pubs, along with theatres and clubs.

Upper floors can be accessed by stairs only. Acceptable forms of identification are passports, a driver's licence and a national identity card. The guesthouse can't accept Garda IDs, public services cards or other forms of identification. The property cannot accept groups of 10 or more people. Please note, the car park at this property cannot accommodate long wheel base vans or minibuses. If the car park is full, free street parking is available from 18:30 until 08:30. Charges may apply at other times. Parking for all vehicles is subject to availability and is on a first come, first serve basis. Please note that late check-in between 21:00 and 23:00 is possible, subject to availability and upon advance request. Late check-in is subject to a surcharge of EUR 10 per hour. Guests are required to arrange the late check-in with the property at least 1 day prior to arrival. Check out after 11:00 will result in a EUR 10 per hour fee. Pets can be accepted but there is a limited pet-friendly space so this must be confirmed prior to arrival, particularly in the case of late bookings. There is a one-off fee of EUR 20 per pet and a Eur50 cleaning deposit returned on check-out. Pets must not be left unattended in the property. Pet owners must bring their own pet bed as pets are not allowed on the furniture - we cannot accept pets that aren't house trained or trained to stay off furniture. While Ireland is in Level 5 lockdown, we unfortunately will be unable to offer breakfast to guests.
